GM A few scenes from my exhibition this weekend. Showed a few pieces from my series "All Who Are Left Behind: Echoes of an Empty Village" exploring stories of migration in the state of Punjab. Tales of a generation left behind. The elders remain as the youth move westward, leaving Punjab’s villages as echoes of their former selves.

Showing a small collection of photographs from Punjab in Chandigarh this weekend. ‘All who are left behind- echoes of an empty village”. Portraits of a generation of elders, left to themselves in their villages, with the youth all migrated away to find their fortunes elsewhere.

Going to be creating another ‘Art Cypher’ artwork from my #FreeExpression series at the launch of my buddy @sangrammalikofficial’s debut hip hop album ‘Rapperoid 15SM’. This artwork, along with all the other art cypher pieces I’ve done over the last year, is a representation of #Chandigarh’s hip-hop community & roots. And, like all the previous versions, will be made on an upcycled metal sheet in a tribute to Chandigarh’s OG artist #NekChand. Come join in and add your IXC story to this piece of art, as we listen to some of the most talented hip hop artists from the region come together in an incredible rap album! (Yes, I have had the privilege of listening to the album during the course of its making. And it is bloody brilliant!). See you tomorrow!
