unfollowing all the accounts that are automatic cross posts from X, I’m not here to consume content like some brainless zombie from people who can’t be bothered to use farcaster

as a user i also value genuine engagement but as a founder in the ecosystem i value growth my POV is that it’s net positive for FC growth because it’s a good signal for new users (who aren’t accustomed to farcaster culture of genuine engagement/convos) that those accounts are casting here seems good for devs?

culture > growth the best things take a long time. for example, Warren Buffet actually had a third business partner who was just as smart. But he was in a hurry and got wiped out. So no one knows about him most overnight successes took years in the making

agree, culture is important and even casted about “overnight” successes a few times bc i understand how much work it takes over years for something to work how do you think cross posting is affecting the culture? what is the worst part that should be resolved ASAP?

what was so attractive about early FC was incredible signal:noise ratio and engagement was not 1%/9%/90% for me, countless conversations or questions went straight to DC and often video chat: amazing! as FC grows, I hope it remains something different and not just import of or convergence to twitter
