as a user i also value genuine engagement but as a founder in the ecosystem i value growth my POV is that it’s net positive for FC growth because it’s a good signal for new users (who aren’t accustomed to farcaster culture of genuine engagement/convos) that those accounts are casting here seems good for devs?

Without knowing the examples, I don’t mind this too much. When people were reluctant to start a new social, I would encourage them to simply mirror their Twitter. I understand this may negatively impact feeds, but it’s a big ask for some people to create original content on a relatively new platform.

I agree 💯 at first I thought it was a temporary arrangement to help activate these accounts with significant following, but rather, it now looks like they are not really interested in engaging with the audience here! I would rather get the same quote tweets from an active Farcaster user looking to engage rather than the current automaton 😼 Might be a great opportunity to create parody accounts. Who wants to parody Gwart 😅, I'll follow 👍

Does it matter where the source of the content is coming from if its interesting or educational? I think the source doesn't matter. Little by little and they will all come to farcaster, some of them already have audience on X and think it will be harder to build the same here.
