latin america has very low religious diversity, as you might expect except for Uruguay, where diversity is high. similar to France or Australia the more i learn about Uruguay, the more i discover things like this

Uruguay has long been more secular and less religious than others because of the strong influence of European intellectuals and because there were relatively few indigenous people for the Catholic church to convert https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irreligion_in_Uruguay
