I mourn the loss of decorum

At one point, the society was functional and decorous. As we became dysfunctional, we used decorum as a veneer to hide the ugliness

Now it's mask off, and everyone from the beggar to the king speaks and behaves in a vulgar manner

It signals a further fall until we find grace once again

lmao i was literally just talking about this today in groupchats

i believe it to be cyclical though. current meta is "i can say whatever you want freedom blah blah blah" but attention is fickle

people get tired of it as it's all they see, and they get attracted to whoever packages up decorum to be a desirable lifestyle trend
