Disappointed today to learn that I was wrong about my long held belief; that the point in which the analemma intersects does not occur on the equinox.

Regardless I continue to believe that making resolutions in the dead of winter is a dumb idea, and that the better time to push yourself to change is at the equinox.

don’t have a strong opinion here atm but:

winter is an excellent time for reflection, and post-reflection is an excellent time for making changes. Seeing those changes through is very hard, but maybe there’s a way to separate the decision from the commitment? although I’m a little skeptical
