I am a first time founder, so I could be way off. But it seems like there's a pattern among successful founders that started with doing something notably different than the market norms of whatever sector they started in Weirdly doesn't seem to be much of that in crypto. A lot of copy/paste, but might be VC's fault

It's an opportunity if you're willing to think different Lots of capital sloshing around looking for good teams and new approaches -- but not able to find them

because of the current maturity of crypto, building differently means building new types of deep tech. my current struggle is explaining a deeply technical system to non-technical folks when they can’t compare it to anything else in the crypto market today.
