everything is web3 is either a blockchain or a protocol. verifiable compute is pretty close but its not decentralized or permissionless. these tools on their own don’t give us enough to replace web2, so we will use web2 systems as a fallback. i don’t believe mass adoption of web3 happens without completely eclipsing web2 capabilities.

its pretty hard to represent anything besides money with tokens. most useful data/actionable systems have interconnected data structures that we can’t represent with tokens alone. im on a journey to fix this and its not at all easy.
