“Content coins” sounds like an absolute forced narrative, even if it isn’t, and seems skeumorphic af — if the creator still has to press “mint” or “coin” or whatever, it’s still the wrong form imo. Tokens are mechanics like pipes — you sell pipe infra to contractors etc, to end consumers you sell reliable, trustworthy, appropriate water.

yes, blockchain and tokens are supposed to be backed infra that provides new capabilities for devs. 
if done right, end users will never know the app is riding on crypto rails.
