im really not convinced by other fc clients yet. i want to be. nook had a good chance.

I don’t think we need other general purpose clients right now

It’s a hard sell to compete against Warpcast (shoutout @woj.eth and SC for being ballers)

It’s like what Dixon said in that podcast - it’s not even the existence of an alt client that gives users leverage, but the ability for one to exist

while we may not “need” more clients we def should want it

sole ability to create vs existence feels like cope — this is not an easy software that can be shipped in a month from start to finish, so id suggest that we definitely want to have more options to keep the protocol neutral

Agreed, we def want it - and you’re doing the lords work 

My point is more that it’s gonna be a schlep and as a dev, there’s an urge to ape into it because it’s fun. But fun to build doesn’t mean fun to run as a business
