As someone who was pretty anti-Solana from an architecture standpoint, I find myself on the pro-Solana side when it comes to GTM Super weird to find myself here, and sometimes I can't effectively articulate why I have conviction that Solana is here to stay (in addition to believing & investing in the EVM world)

Same here. I was fairly solid standing on my "but it doesn't have [x] principles that are so important!" platform and then came to realize, the other 2 principles (yes, I'm a trilemma guy) are just as important to others. Fast, Secure, Cheap - pick 2 Solana picked "Fast" and "Cheap" and for lots of things, that's just alright

I find myself in a very similar boat. The only way I can articulate why I believe Solana has staying power is because normies seem to love it for memecoins and don't even think about ETH. The reason I believe the EVM has staying power is because of its network effect and the variety of protocols and applications built on top of it.

Same here. EVM maxi for sure. Like @yes2crypto.eth said, pick 2, and they did. And it's working. But! I absolutely can't do sol shitcoins. Those mfers are a different breed, and I can't keep up ๐

SOL ecosystem is still relatively young and hungry, so there are lots of people willing to grind to get rich. BTC/ETH have a large amount of hodlers who became rich already. So there is just less drive to grind like hell to make money.

"Everyone in Manhattan shouldn't live in Manhattan, and they should all be smart and move to Fort Lee. Fort Lee also will flip Manhattan in population and economic value because it's cheaper." This is why I don't take any of the Solana arguments seriously because it just implies everyone is a instantaneous rational actor and always optimizes for marginal short term price.
