Yeah I agree, but advice is also not *just* instruction 

I agree that instructions are less relevant than they were before

But I’d also argue that instructions like “go to med school” were always bad and robbed kids of their agency

hmm i think there's more nuance here, no? 

advice != wisdom

the latter is a subcategory

wisdom holds true across long periods. but there's another type of common advice like "you should go to medical school instead of trying to be a youtuber" which isn't wisdom and can be wrong depending on time/context
