I think this is Farcaster's secret. The "magic moment" for Farcaster doesn't happen online — it happens IRL This is why so many of the CT talking heads and outsiders don't seem to grok FC. They come here, see a noisy feed, and churn In order for FC to continue eating CT, we'll need more IRL touch points

Strong agree tbh, natural pickup of FC is pretty low when compared to organic/irl & recommendation pickup But on that, I think one of the biggest holdouts right now are the midfluencers who engagement farmed their position on X & are in fear of losing that status on FC. Which, hopefully, they would 🤷 127 $degen

agree... I like to think of FC as a social network, not social media. That's where it differs from twitter. You actually meet the people. It's a community.

agree until the last point. in order to scale we need this to flip. as sad as that might sound url->irl isn't scalable, so if it's the only magic then we can't scale. this is nothing against the magic of url->irl. just that the more scalable growth strategy wins.
