It's weird that the Ethereum cabal is arguing on X

Why aren't they arguing about it on the app that is architecturally Ethereum Twitter?

This is a greater indictment of Eth culture than any VC / "inner circle" drama

The Ethereum cabal have been some of the biggest public detractors of Farcaster. Actually moreso than “CT” which gets the meat of the criticism here

They think Farcaster fragmented the ethereum social layer and they don’t want to do the work to rebuild their following

It’s because FC is 99% Coinbase / centralization adjacent / web2 fintech people. Aka normies. 

They don’t care about decentralization and in fact argue against it and also don’t actually use blockchain or derivatives. 

Merkle and team are not normies but almost every user on here is.

Economic incentives are not aligned 🗣️
