If you’ve wondered how tf people on the Degen leaderboard have been tipped so much already, hop on Dune. (I wondered too)

Many on that board have sent 200-450 tips over the past 7 days. 

Most are casting 100+ times a day.

Conclusion: They tipped 2X more often than me & received 2X more tips.

what I looked at definitely wasn't scientific haha. It was picking the 6+ names on the lists that are either artists like myself or that I talk to daily and consider to be more than merely engagement farming. 

They all had double or triple my casts and tipped frequency and had around 2X or more tipped

I did the same analysis and tbh couldn't see a pattern but I'll take the bait 500 $degen

I agree here. You're going to have to have something going viral to stack tips outside the trenches. For most the tips reside in the replies and conversations

Then i go on their profile and see 2 cast per day🤌

How are they gonna get tips if those 2 casts sucked?

Also, people tip a lot in the replies.. and the same that complain are only replying with emojis or “cool”

imo you'll earn far more tips from engaging in convos and replying than only tipping.

yes in the example i mention tipping however there's also the part about how they were casting 100+ times a day. not all of the 100 casts are tips, some are just regular replies, etc.

So I need to cast more to increase my allowance? and how could I have tipped too much with 25 allowance :,) It's too little ,I'm even too shy to tip that to someone lol

I wouldn't say reciprocal in the sense that people are just farming tips on the same posts (most genuine users don't)

However reciprocity is engrained in our dna so I do think when someone does something nice to you, you're more likely to do something nice next time you see their post

As for large allowance just give slightly smaller amounts, maybe its 16 degen or something until your gain more allowance

My belief though is the tips reside in the replies & conversations like the ones being had here 💙

Are they mostly reciprocal tips then?

I am rarely tipped by the same people I give tips to, so I wonder.

As most things that trend, if it’s about the number of tips, then you have to be lucky enough to have a large allowance in the first place. If you have a small one you can only give out so many tips.

100+ times a day? That's wild! If they're real people, I'd respect their dedication and wonder how they manage it. But if they're bots, maintaining both quantity and quality, that's a concern. They evolve way too fast!

I cast about 50 times a day and have given out 103 tips in the past 7 days.

The accounts I'm referring to above cast & tip 2x and are pretty much right at 2X tipped
