Took the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Utsunomiya for the day which was a nice break from the extreme urbanscape of Tokyo. Walked through Oya quarry and bought a little succulent planter made from (allegedly) the mined stone. Grabbed some gyoza where every shop had lines wrapped around the block.

We just picked the shortest line and looked there but I’m sure there’s a variety since there are so many gyoza shops on the same street. The one we went to had standard gyoza and deep fried gyoza 😆

Oh such a good discovery need to go there. Did they have many flavor options  of gyoza?

I love gyoza city. Also a little further is the very fancy shrines in Nikko, so used to do these both as a day trip. 

If you get a chance to do that, recommend :))
