resisted being *that* person but woke up and chose violence: FC is so male coded that a) it can get tired, and b) i still spend significant time on insta + twitter for chick stuff instead of FC yes, the men here are infinitely better than the men on twitter BUT the dynamic will remain a challenge. /chicks channel plz

I get why we tend to think the solution to this kind of problem is to create a separate environment for females but we’re never going to get what we actually want if we keep segregating.

Agreed, but I also don't see a huge issue with having niche interests social apps. I use Diem app for my "women's lens" content, and Warpcast for general content from laid back crypto enthusiasts. Like w/ dividing content into channels, I now find my online social experience more enjoyable + tailored than before

agree, that's why i think a /chicks channel is the better solution compared to building an entirely separate female-centered app as some are suggesting.
