Is there any reason we're calling it sign in with ethereum rather than sign in with insert-asymmetric-key-encryption-algorithm? Technically you're signing in with an ECDSA key-pair that just so happens to be used by Ethereum. You could swap ECDSA for any asymmetric key algorithm.
