Labor of love. The guides online are very good. 

There is some loss of functionality (True Tone) but not entirely necessary for my workflow… at least for now.

I used to F around and rebuild my MacBooks after I replaced them with a new one. At least until Mac started soldering their drives. It gave me such a sense of accomplishment. The only task I didn’t follow through on was replacing the keyboard (individual keys)
