Hi builders, last weeks have been exciting!

We spoke at our first @base event, BASE DAM, organized by @sohey.eth. The energy was fantastic! @jrgsilva discussed the importance of spaces to experiment with NFT tech, driving innovation and bringing new users.

We joined ABlockofCrypto, hosted @thecryptorat, to talk about “Are NFTs Dead?” While volumes are down, exciting developments continue. We also shared our project and the vital role @base plays in our vision!

Our launch is going strong with 3,000 mints! Two highlights:
The first snapshot of the NFT drop with @basicdogmeme! Each NFT holder will be rewarded via airdrop. If you missed it, no worries—a second snapshot may come soon!

We also announced a special drop by an OG artist behind the Modern Renaissance project from 2017. Collectors who mint 11 or more NFTs on our platform by Sept 15th will be AL for a free mint of Caravaggio’s work.

As @jessepollak said, this is our time as builders—let’s keep pushing!

A good foundation is important

Really interesting to see how this one is going to play out. The owner knew for 10 years the foundation was very bad and needed work. In 2015 the municipality placed it on a preliminary list of homes that “are important for the look of our village”, in 2019 the owner objected due to the cost involved to get foundation fixed. 

In 2019 he stated the home didn’t have a long life ahead of it anymore due to the troubles. Stayed in the home living in it, didn’t do any work to make it safer. And now it’s up to the _insurance_  to see what is next, seems off to me. There is some sort of responsibility one needs to own up to when letting it get this far?

The images Google -deepfake- reimagine feature creates are pretty insane. The velocity of improvement is kinda worrisome to me. I think we are already well past the point that you can’t trust anything you see anymore… but most of us don’t realize it.
