it's too sharp on the edges, the inside of my little finger got inflamed after using it for years. now I use a more smooth Satechi M1. looks horrible but at least don't give me problems.

TIL: in Italian we have an idiom "ogni morte di papa" (trad: "once every death of a pope"), but in English you say: "every once in a blue moon". the blue moon is when you have two full moons in the same month. something inevitable but that happens very rarely (like a death of a pope) is someone outside Italy following the conclave?

Yesterday I've read: "When your mind is telling you that you're done, that you're exhausted, that you cannot possibly go any further, you're only actually 40% done." And it actually makes a lot of sense. This morning I had a 10x400 in Zone5 and at the 4th or 5th rep my mind was telling me to stop there. Same happened last week with the 10x600. if you are brave enough to focus on doing 2 more, you find yourself at 70% and then you start to think: "ok, just 3 more and we are good". 10x400 @ 3:35/km (rec 1' static) πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

it depends on the distance. for short distance (till HM) you can lock in for another PR, for longer distance (marathon and ultra) I would suggest to recover properly.

just discovered I've been logging dumbbells weights incorrectly the whole time. if I lift 15 Kg for each arm I should log 30, not 15... now I know why I felt so weak compared to my peers (as skinny as me). beginner mistakes.
