Because it is elected within Catholics… 😜 the imperial system was not invented in US. Even the inventories gave up and are now using the metric (more logical) system. My question is honest. I’m really interested to understand what is the friction (beside adaptation) to migrate to the metric one.

Same as adapting to the fact that the earth rotates around the sun and not the vice versa. It’s called scientific evolution. If a system is better, we adapt it. So we evolve.

American scientists use metric? :) It’s actually quite hard to get all 300M+ Americans to do anything, esp. with 50 states.
