it also started with predatory publisher who just want to take money to publish "ambiguous" research to prove whatever you want...

Sort of true - bad journals have been around forever. Someone who actually reads research can identify shitty studies a mile away I’ve been talking about the garbage Creatine studies for years but no one cares because some dude with a podcast says it’s the greatest thing he ever did (he lied cuz he’s paid)

the issue is the number of dump people who will link that shitty study to prove their point... tell me more about those Creatine studies. I started to take it this year, but stopped when I got a bronchitis (even if it seems not correlated at all and safe to take) and now I'm hesitant to restart since my cough is not completely gone yet... worried about the hydration level correlation of respiratory system and hydration retention effects of creatine.

I’ve always found Creatines effects on water retention to be negligible and irrelevant, mostly only women say they notice a difference but I never do In any case it shouldn’t be a problem if you hydrate properly anyway My stick with Creatine is that people say it has brain benefits but so conveniently leave out that it has cognitive benefits only if you - have a age-related brain disorder such as dementia or Alzheimer’s - suffer a traumatic brain injury - are sleep deprived Basically if you’re healthy and normal Creatine has no impact on cognition (Although that’s not to take away from its massive and proven physical benefits)
