homework is starting to be a touchy subject i don't mind if the kid makes an error. but she's developed a habit of refusing to acknowledge/correct her errors, which leads to frustration on both sides (perhaps it's payback for how i was w/ my parents 🫠) advice on how to keep the kid focused and myself more chill?

they refuse to ack they make mistake in general. what helped me a lot with my 8yo was telling him my mistakes of when I was young. and I saw in his eyes the relive when he said "so, you made mistakes too". "of course, we all do mistakes in our life" I replied. they need to know that there is nothing wrong about it
