What's changed since this post? Nearly 100 more episodes of the Morning Show, plus 16 more weeks of After Dark have been streamed. We've more than doubled our community size to over 300,000. Thousands have joined our Discord server, learning together every single day. We've doubled our monthly view count. The weekly show audience has more than doubled as well, now with over 40,000 people tuning in every week. Despite the market downturn, thousands of people tune into the show every day to learn about blockchain and crypto, to ask their questions, and to hear something other than shilling and nonsense. Beef farming is one of if not the leading cause of Amazon deforestation, and we use a tremendous amount of energy raising cattle to slaughter age/size. The amount of water it takes to create a pound of beef is unbelievably inefficient. I'm extremely aware that being vegan or vegetarian is not in the cards for everyone of course - but even just reducing the amount of beef we buy and eat to be less frequent makes a difference.

I'm excited about more physical products emerging in the Web3 industry, but I worry a little about the methodologies we're using. I am not opposed to airdrops, in fact I think it's a really cool unique feature that we can use in this space to not only change incentive structures, but also to add a new dimension to these devices. However - I think it taints the interest pool and I don't want to get into a world where we get to sell crap for a huge markup because of the speculative nature of meme coin airdrops.

This is the objective crypto research you just don't get elsewhere. We aren't interested in just parroting the trends - we're gonna give you the brutal reality of some of Tiktok's favorite cryptos, and it's rarely good news.

The weird thing here wasn't the rejection - I'm a startup founder I get it every day, it was the reach out to specifically buy something from us, we said okay dope let's go! And they're like yeah guys this isn't gonna work out. I am befuddled 😅

I have a client that I've been doing work for over the last month or so. They told me the other day that 1) they're ecstatic with the quality of work we've delivered and 2) they want to take things to the next level. They suggested a few more things we could do, items off of the deliverables and rates sheet we have provided. We penned a proposal including exactly what they asked for including a quote exactly in line with the rate sheet they had from us. The reply was a terse "no thanks, this isn't in line with what we're looking for" and that was it. I'm gonna handle this the way I handle every rejection/failure - learn what I can and move on. But I have to say, this one kinda confounds me.
