I have a client that I've been doing work for over the last month or so.

They told me the other day that 1) they're ecstatic with the quality of work we've delivered and 2) they want to take things to the next level.

They suggested a few more things we could do, items off of the deliverables and rates sheet we have provided. 

We penned a proposal including exactly what they asked for including a quote exactly in line with the rate sheet they had from us. 

The reply was a terse "no thanks, this isn't in line with what we're looking for" and that was it. 

I'm gonna handle this the way I handle every rejection/failure - learn what I can and move on. 

But I have to say, this one kinda confounds me.

The weird thing here wasn't the rejection - I'm a startup founder I get it every day, it was the reach out to specifically buy something from us, we said okay dope let's go! And they're like yeah guys this isn't gonna work out. 

I am befuddled 😅

Sorry to hear that! 🫂 it always sucks when a client rejects your offer but I’m sure you did your due diligence! They’re missing out.
