Trading-first vs social-first crypto apps Trading: pump dot fun, fantasy top Social: FC, @drakula IMO: social wins long-term because it combines trading with a stronger product foundation, and social = more time spent in-app = higher LTV! Everybody is building infra, so the alpha is in building the best social apps.

Half-baked thoughts from chatting w/@vigneshka, would love thoughts from @coopahtroopa.eth @nicholas @0xdesigner @li TLDR: trading to be commoditized, so dead-simple trading apps may face tough competition, versus if you try to go after Twitter like Warpcast or TikTok like Drakula, it's harder, but more alpha there!

love this, another way to frame it if, every consumer product falls within one of the seven deadly sins (engrained part of human nature) then, trading-first apps = greed but, social-first apps in crypto = another deadly sin + greed

I think it is interesting thought experiment for all builders of social-first: - how many users would still use the app without trading part? My hunch would be many would still do for FC, less so for Drakula. But no numbers to back this feeling apart from being involved in both
