If you were flying SEA to LAX on a Sunday afternoon and no rush. How much minimum would you want to be compensated for volunteering to give up your seat and catch the next flight?

Salvage value is about $250. If not in a hurry , sure go to the lounge eat and do some work  . The return leg on the other hand,  LAX doesn’t have any lounges for my pay grade :)

Isn’t 8 pm too early for such a premium? I would have said maybe a 10/11 pm?

If the delay is not too long, $200

If the delay is >3hrs or the later flight lands after 8pm, $500
