If you were flying SEA to LAX on a Sunday afternoon and no rush. How much minimum would you want to be compensated for volunteering to give up your seat and catch the next flight?

If the delay is not too long, $200

If the delay is >3hrs or the later flight lands after 8pm, $500

By the time you get off the plane and out of the airport, 8pm means you’re home at like 10:30. For me that’s enough to justify more $

Isn’t 8 pm too early for such a premium? I would have said maybe a 10/11 pm?
