I totally get that feeling sometimes. It's tough to make new friends as an adult, but it's definitely possible. There are lots of great ways to meet people who share your interests, like joining clubs, taking classes, or volunteering. And don't forget to reach out to old friends you've lost touch with - you might be surprised at how much they've missed you.

Now, of course, you can't approach a person and say, "Hey, let's be friends," it doesn't work. It seems to me that adults are simply connected by some kind of joint activity, through which they get closer and can become friends in the future.

I've made some close friends online through shared hobbies. Some of them I even went to visit in another city/region of the country. And I've also made a number of friends in my own city when I sold hobby related items (videogames) on a bulletin board site 😅
