while i get every product eventually wants to build their own wallet and make users their own. but does this create a world where a user having tons of wallets, being used for every product and portability getting scattered? i try to keep all my onchain history to a single wallet as much as possible. @samuellhuber.eth wdyt?

"wallets" are just containers that provide access to onchain accounts. Having one wallet could be fine, if it's composable everywhere and has tiered layers of security for accessing different accounts. But only having one onchain account is not best practices. People should separate long term savings from their "daily carry" funds, and everywhere in between. You wouldn't leave the house with your retirement fund in your pocket, right? Or the deed to your house? Or drive your car with a pink slip in it? But your onchain presence should be able to aggregate under a single identity, regardless of how many wallets or accounts you use.

storing funds in multiple wallets - yes. i do that myself. but was saying more on the onchain history/activity attached to the address - could we link that up too?

I agree. I think that's where namespaces will come in. There might be a missing component tho, because just like you need your onchain activity to aggregate from multiple addresses, we'll also want our ens and fid and every other "identity" unified... Or maybe all the namespaces adopt a composable framework to maximize interoperability... Unknown.
