the answer to this question is so fraught man you can q easily get wine that is called/labeled natural but i think the philosophically real thing — which is sort of impossible to codify — is still hard to come by. and bottles that are rare and/or properly aged even more so

the only way that's practicable is to ask someone who knows to buy for you — now that there is so much nattywinebro noise, finding the signal is even more effort 'twas ever so

there's enough that is very acceptable to drink at normal-person prices for sure unfortunately some of the most surprising and delicious wines will not be the ones you can get for €11-15 and as a rule of thumb, wine with dimension will show it only after a few years in bottle — we drink a lot of things too soon

huge variation for many good and some bad reasons eg azzoni fable 2021 €11-15 saurigny piu 2021 €40ish? boyer st romain 2021 €90ish? le romanee-conti 2021 €20k+ (but then drc is at the intersection of low-intervention and big money/china/financebro/tradlux etc) auction pricing a whole diff story
