kinda crazy half of CT was just in singapore and they’re all arguing about some party instead of highlighting that you can literally pay for the your Uber-equivalent with crypto and that most of Singapore is immigrants who send $$ across borders and often use crypto to do so

i reckon most of this volume will not be on/settled on ethereum either; prolly on tron or another chain highly ignored, made fun of by ethereum maxi folks

agree with you re: "real consumer adoption" - people have been using crypto to do cross-border money transfers to/from asia & africa for a while now on chains like Tron, BSC and Solana because they're fast, cheap and easily manageable on CEXs that require little-to-no KYC

wish we as an ecosystem could better acknowledge these successes even if they're on chains that might not be our "preferred" ones, and then work to better solve these real pain points for real people
