kinda crazy half of CT was just in singapore and they’re all arguing about some party instead of highlighting that you can literally pay for the your Uber-equivalent with crypto and that most of Singapore is immigrants who send $$ across borders and often use crypto to do so (that’s real consumer adoption btw)

I laughed at all the “this is what’s wrong with our industry” tweets, which are good for engagement monkeys but actually the only thing wrong is no one uses products built on crypto rails and it’s absolutely not because of Iggy or booth babes. I mean hip hop seems to be doing just fine. At least it’s easy to label the virtue signalers.

It's crazy how the real issues are getting overlooked. Instead of arguing about some party, they should be highlighting the real impact of crypto adoption in a place like Singapore. Being able to pay for your Uber-equivalent with crypto and seeing how immigrants use it to send remittances more efficiently is a clear example of how this technology is improving real lives on a daily basis. That's what the conversation should be focusing on: the practical use and utility of crypto in the global economy.
