there's been a huge uptick in electric bikes here in /paris the past few years, including cargo ones to lug around families

at the same time, what's been hilarious is i've also suddenly noticed pickup trucks too (not nearly as frequent but still "new" to this environment")

With the upcoming trove of autonomous cars, part of me wonders if a lot of cars will reduce in size 

While “family cars” remain current size people commuting don’t need all that space

honestly i found it a bit obnoxious as it does jut out further into the road the way the person parked

not sure if i'd personally use it though as my only use case for a car is longer travel and or hauling a lot of stuff
