it'd be like apples and oranges, the kirkland signature wines are just too high end and wouldn't allow for a fair comparison

having said that, i do think this bottle is nicer than a welch's grape drink

i've found i personally like italian wines better in general to french wines, but obviously not as wide a selection when you don't live in italy!
