alot of running shoes have super big soles which are nice for distance running but terrible for plyos

ahh, yeah alot of running shoes nowadays have a huge sole for cushioning

but because i do things like hurdle jumps or bounding it poses as a risk as i could hurt my ankle! 

what is your preferred running distance?

I only run distance so I’m not familiar with the needs of other event competitors.
