I got called for jury duty today and they took all our electronics and I very randomly had a paper copy of Genghis Khan book by Jack Weatherford so I spent 4 hours reading about Mongolian history today. Strange that this is on the timeline today.

Sure! Haven’t read this, but spent a semester in Mongolia, lived with his descendants in yurts (called gers over there) and drank plenty of bottles of vodka with Genghis Khan’s depictions on the label, so feel like I know the guy.

Inspired by a book I recently finished about the Mongols in the 12th and 14th centuries. 😀 👇 (Sarai city).   
I haven't heard about "Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World." I think it will be my next book to read. 👀
