It seems like "The Bitter Lesson" from AI is just a general lesson for the design of any system with emergence. It's very fun to tinker with a system's details but a simple design with emergence always works better http://www.incompleteideas.net/IncIdeas/BitterLesson.html

So, most ZKP use Elliptic Curves or Hashes as bases. I often find myself in a kool-aid man type scenario when I bring up: Lattice. Lattice are homomorphic, arguably post quantum secure, and use integers. Here is the latest and greatest Lattice based PCS: https://eprint.iacr.org/2024/1293?s=35

I want to launch an onchain app on the superchain during this flight, any chain is fine. Assume I am a brand new developer. What is the best way for me to go about it? The app can be a simple one: > homepage > connect wallet > click one of 4 options to make a simple attestation/tx > one random person who clicks wins from the reward pot every day. > each wallet can only do 1 tx a day. How do I do this? Is it too much?

New ElectricSQL demo! The most common question I get for Electric is how to do auth — as most sync engines have custom APIs. But since Electric is just HTTP — the answer is... just use your existing HTTP API to proxy Shape requests!

Encryption is good for the same reason seatbelts are good. Digital communication does not take place in a safe environment-- even in the best liberal democracy. So providing tools for individuals to engage in free exchange allows the beneficent ones to flourish.

Personal investments in relationships of networked power ML, influence, and economy. Somehow, this simultaneously has the vibe of something that could never work and while also being the only thing to ever work in human history
