I think boredom in a long timeframe comes from a lack of purpose, a lack of direction and a lack of goal that you are striving towards.

Boredom in short term is just a undefined pause where you don’t know what do or don’t want to do.

Where does the boredom come from or what does it point to? One of the things I’m learning is that feelings point to things - stuck things, old things, new but scary things etc
