Is there a service to receive local cash from stablecoins when traveling rather than relying on a plastic card as a solo point of failure? Today the ATM *literally* took my card. RAI|USDC|USDT|etc. >>> Local cash This is not good UX. I will be grabbing my ATM card right away from now on. A backup is to send yourself a wire transfer. I'm not sure exactly how you'd receive it. Maybe a large international bank may let you receive a transfer even if you're not a customer. I wasn't sure if I was having a stroke or losing my mind. I couldn't find my card anywhere before realizing the machine actually did steal it while I was counting my rent money. Fortunately I found a Krungsri branch and will hopefully receive my card back this week.

A stranger who overheard my conversation with the banker recommended TrueMoney for mobile payments while I wait for my debit card to be returned. It looks like they're compatible with 7-Eleven which is good since they're everywhere. https://www.truemoney.com/retail-store/

Thank you @nixo for telling me about bestchange.com! The UX is straightforward to compare exchangers in your city that have an office or work with a courier. I selected an exchanger and I don't 100% understand "the last mile" of how to receive the cash after the transaction is complete. Perhaps I'll test it out with 10 USDC first.

Yeah, in Thailand you get your money before the card = common that people lose their cards! Can go to Satoshi Square tonight for OTC.
