I'm a digital nomad, so I run my setup at a friend's house in exchange for contributing to the internet bill and a free UPS to keep their internet up in power outages!

I didn't want it to be too intrusive so it's disguised in a bookshelf. And if I ever need to, I can hard reboot it from afar with the smart power strip

Soon I'll be starting the research to stake remotely too before my next nomad adventure. Originally I thought I couldn't stake as a nomad until my friend's dad that builds custom home monitoring systems for his family,  told me about smart power strips for restarts.

I estimate some personal plans will not be okay with "home servers" and I may need to explore small business plans too.

I'm bookmarking this to remind myself of the UPS which I haven't considered yet.

My first step is to look at regional internet providers plans to see which if any personal plans will support 500 GB to 4 TB per validator per month.
