am i alone in being completely unable to rewatch anything i'm on video doing? i've never watched a talk or podcast i've done and i absolutely have tried. i can't get 12 seconds into listening to my own voice

You did great on Epicenter this week!! I also feel highly uncomfortable listening/watching myself. The few conference talks I've done I have forced myself to rewatch. I think it helps if you get it over with as close to it being published as possible.

I've also had recent more informal recordings I decided not to listen too and I think that's okay too. I have to decide to be in the mode of receiving self-critique.

If it's right after the talk/event my adrenaline is still going.

The longer I wait it feels like "mental debt" accruing.

Also, I like the feeling of "wrapping everything up" by watching/listening to the talk, making note of anything useful moving forward, and marking that experience as "complete".
