no mindblowing products come to life through democracy. tasteful dictatorship is what it takes - not warm fuzzy 'what's yo favorite feature?' voting system. the dodge brothers went wilding at unbelievable pace, and "fast decisions" powered by the bothers dictating directions, was how they pulled it off.

People don't know what they want or need in this context. No one was walking around saying they needed the iPhone until it was in front of them. It takes an innovator to identify the need and then execute properly. Most of these voting features are simple pedestrian optimizations at best. You need a vision. esp early.

quick decisions sometimes don't turn out the way you think they will. always take it slow and think twice ❤️
