Farcaster is unique out of all the alt-socials because it caters to the very small slice of folks who think Elon’s doing a Great Job with X and also for some reason want an alternative The other platforms can leverage disgust for what X has become for growth

i am looking forward to seeing a totally redefined experience. i imagine he is building walmart lowest common denominator omni / super app. its not gonna be anything like twitter was. he likes transformation at scale.

it will be impressive and may even be economically successful — but from a subjective "do i think this is good for the world and should exist" perspective i am not excited to see it :-(
