anyone else consistently unable to scan these qr codes? my sense is because the dots are too small, the camera has a hard time picking them up properly.

Which app is this? I believe they released an AuthKit updated a little while ago to improve the scannability, whoever made this might need to update their version

there was a recent Farcaster AuthKit update that helped to make it easier to scan. depends on the app that shows the QR code

I always feel new when signing in on my computer. Assumed it was because my screen brightness is too low. But it picks it up maybe half the time.

They are prioritizing aesthetics and branding. The logo is obscuring bits that should be there, relying on the error correction built in to the QR spec to handle it. Also, the round dots do not meet the standard. QR codes are so resilient that even with this chicanery, decoders are still usually able to make it work.
