I've never seen the logic in artists who embrace the blockchain using 'the other place', which is now the most centralised platform imaginable. As Farcaster develops, the promise for artists grows daily- the potential of frames alone is enormous. Theoretically, it's the X killer for anyone engaged with Web3.

The signal to noise ratio is really good despite the spammers. Lots of great minds in crypto are on this app and every time I refresh my feed there is something new to look at! Lots of builders shipping frames, etc. It inspires me to do stuff more than other platforms

I came here because this is the first decentralized social that I’ve seen in web3 that actually nailed the approach to community. It’s a difficult task, trust me, I tried. I also have quite a bit of experience with social so I’m enjoying it as a sort of social app anthropologist 😉

When I first joined fc, it felt like a better more focused corner of Crypto Twitter where there was better convo and engagement with active crypto participants Now it’s proving to be that plus a much more flexible platform that users can build on top of and enable new digital social experiences

That it is focused on web3 & crypto in general is a huge leap for those of us immersed in NFTs. Although Twitter is the medium that made all of us artists grow, it is increasingly difficult to avoid ads spam scams and have genuine interaction. This space is an opportunity to get involved with what we are interested in

Also, you can experience the platform being actively built right in front of your eyes and everyone can participate and build upon it. Not a black box like X.
