I had a strong philosophical difference of views about what should be done in the direction of crypto's future, which is what lead me to leave Coinbase. But I will say, without a shadow of a doubt, that Coinbase is being put through absolute FUD nonsense with this, and it's so obvious the origin of this attack is coming from one of the least trustworthy people in this industry. Would you rather trust your wrapped BTC with: 1. An audited public company with extremely rigid security controls and compliance teams (cbBTC), or 2. One advantage of SIWF over SIWE is that you don’t need to have 3+ different buttons / flows corresponding to different wallet providers Just scan a QR code, and you're authenticated I hope that as SIWF extends to other clients, the simplicity of having a single interface is maintained

i think we'll see a spectrum for third party features/integrations in clients going forward general mini app interface -> partial native integration with fallbacks for unimplemented features -> full native integrations here's an example: i implemented farcaster signer auth for the stories API so in opencast i can fetch a user's stories feed and show it natively using their farcaster identity. when they interact with the feed i just open the stories mini app using the composer action spec where they can view and upload to their story in the future i can implement a custom viewing experience for stories or a custom flow for uploading to the user's story

My friend made up a name to call me when I am dooming. It’s actually a slur if I’m being honest I won’t repeat it. But it makes me look at other people dooming differently actually and I am grateful he did it. But I will be in such big trouble if I use it
