Ummm @adrienne I was committed to the 0 minutes of us politics on /gmfarcaster but we might have to allow for 30 seconds of memes. Blame Jonny.

been very lucky to have no injuries since I started running, but reducing mileage deliberately this week for the first time after feeling slight tightness in legs for a few days feels bad but important to stay healthy ⚡️

@dwr.eth this is crazy. Why are you the sole mod for /apple? You basically don’t curate the posts ever so there’s almost nothing here, and there’s no “recent” tab in a general interest channel! What is the point? Really? What are you trying to gatekeep, or virtue signal, or what? It seems so capricious as to be outright obnoxious. And there are several channels you’re doing this for. Why should anyone want to use channels (aside from their own) if this is how they will work? Example, here’s a perfectly average post I made the other day. No reason it shouldn’t be in /apple. It doesn’t break any rules, it’s about Apple, it’s from verified caster and should meet even a priority mode setting, so what then is the motivation? Instead you have two posts in two weeks in a channel about one of the worlds biggest tech companies 😮‍💨

Thinking aloud on this I read somewhere that content can either be informative, educational or entertaining. In the context of socialfi, we could probably add "remunerative". The trick here, however, is that: - we can't (and probably wouldn't want to) gate reading, but only casting - only root-level casts are curated: everyone can reply * So the answer is that we're making it up together as we go. I have something to share about that, will do that later today ps @df @jtgi is that true? how did that channel experiment go?

translation for this channel: - they knew biden would lose and they'd have to switch him out for a proper chance. - they couldn't just swap him out: either because he wouldn't let go, or the voter base would be confused. - they did a debate 2 months early to get the public to cry for his swapping.
