while each group retains its own culture, pure "american culture" exists in this weird world of commoditized seasonal & sports festivities.

Felt this vividly Super Bowl weekend traveling at O’Hare airport in Chicago. We got this really good cheese dip at Chili’s (!) The game gate crashed the conversation and opened up conversation at the bar between crypto degens (us), a pastry chef from Pastisse, a few cat people, and some airport barflys.

Where did you move from? I’m thinking of moving to the US from the UK because of its openness and unquestioning acceptance of everyone
